There has been a lot of talk from car company Suzuki regarding a concept car that was revealed at a motor show in New Delhi, India and the compact SUV has been shown to ride on an identical chassis to the hatchback of the Suzuki Swift. The vehicle was designed and constructed by a division of Suzuki called Maruti Suzuki India Limited and uses most of the same Suzuki parts that are utilized in other countries. The name of the concept vehicle is called the XA Alpha and a representative of the company suggested that the X stood for the fact that the vehicle was a crossover and that the A meant that it was an entry level vehicle as well.

Comparatively, the Mini Countryman is about four inches longer than the small vehicle, so it really is a rather small sport utility crossover and fits in well with the attempts by the company to bring in a new and interesting smaller vehicle into its lineup that can compete with some of the larger sport utility trucks. The vehicle has a rather chunky style to it and some people have suggested that it looks like one of the members of the Range Rover series of vehicles. There are a pair of narrow taillights that actually impact the sides of the windshield.

The smaller size has allowed the vehicle to qualify for some nice, low tax rates in India which has meant that the vehicle would be a great option for appealing to young buyers who want to save a lot of money on their next vehicle purchase.
